“ I’ve came here the most in San Antonio, they always have live music and 15 for a liter of beer on the riverwalk is not a bad deal at all it’s near everything you want and I love the staff. The food is also amazing I recommend getting the sampler platter that comes with a variety of options for food. ”
“ Great place! Love the atmosphere, the staff was great, the food was great. Waffle nice and fluffy, tenders cooked well, crunchy but tender. ”
“ This was literally the best restaurant on the riverwalk. The host was so friendly and happy to seat us, and let us choose the best table in the restaurant. Perfect view of the river and the band. The band was amazing and a pleasure to listen to. Michelle was timely, ready to meet all of our needs, and even willing to take time out to talk to us about moving to San Antonio and answered all of our questions. She was wonderful and we will definitely be back to ask for her. The food was absolutely delicious. The Bavarian pretzel was huge and the garlic Parmesan wings were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. ”
“ Self seating allowed me to find the perfect seat. The drinks were strong and cold. The pretzel was GIANT. I came with a big appetite and only managed to eat half. I was also solo. Could be a whole meal for 2 or a greta app for 4. The waitress was basically non-existant. She checked in once and I noticed a couple others with empty drinks for long periods and credit cards sitting on the table waiting for checks. Beautiful view. Overall pretty decent. The quality of food made up for the lack of service. Total for 1 drink and 1 pretzel and tip was 39. ”
“ Oh my goodness! This place served delicious food! We tried the Kraut balls with Prost sauce for an appetizer. Yum! Then my husband and I split a double sausage paddle. (Bratwurst and polish sausage.) Probably should have gotten 3. We did get an extra small pretzel and beer cheese. Sauerkraut was good. My husband liked the potato salad. It wasn’t my favorite, but everything else....Chef’s kiss! So good! Definitely going back. Ready for more now. ”
“ If you're craving a hefty burger or a unique fusion of German-Mexican-American flavors right on the River Walk, this is the spot to check out. We went all in with the Meister Burger, a towering creation with two juicy beef patties, bratwurst, ham, muenster cheese, and a fried egg, all stacked on a buttery brioche bun. We also tried the Chicken Schnitzel Club, featuring crispy fried chicken, cheddar, bacon, and rich Bier Cheese, also on a brioche bun. Every bite was packed with bold flavors. The fries were cooked to golden perfection, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. We were tempted by the Chicken and Waffles, which looked incredible, but there just wasn’t any room left. A heads-up: the wind near the river can get pretty strong, and the local birds are experts at stealing fries. Keep an eye on your plate! ”
“ Julian is a great server! Please ask for him. My wife and stepdaughter were not optimistic about German food, Julian guided them to find the optimal dish to suit their taste. The house salad was enhanced by the homemade ranch. Without exception the best pretzel and beer cheese in the nation by far. Sliders great. The chicken snitzle converted my wife to German food. The sausages will make you slap ya mama. A must visit! ”
“ Great spot. If you come in from the Riverwalk side don't forget to check out the inside. One of San Antonio's best bartenders Serena is amazing! Super friendly and and she doesn't just drinks. She makes it an experience. A hidden gem. ”
